Energy $avings Partnership Program
Provides no cost energy efficiency services to income-eligible customers, seniors and disabled. Services can include an energy audit, attic, wall and crawlspace insulation, air leakage reduction, appliance safety inspections, forced air efficiency assessment, high efficiency lighting surveys and other safety inspections. Applications are available in English and Spanish on the website. Local service agencies can answer questions about the program and assist with the application process. Energy Resource Center – ERC
Offers free home weatherization, insulation and furnace services to low-income families. Customers currently receiving LEAP, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Supplemental Security Income or MEDICAID assistance automatically qualify for ERC services. Colorado Springs Utilities – Home Efficiency Assistance Program (HEAP)
A partnership with the Energy Resource Center (ERC), HEAP provides energy and water efficiency measures and conservation education for customers with household incomes at or below 250 percent of federal poverty guidelines.
